Get Connected

How do I make connections at Liberty Baptist Church?

The best way to begin relationships at Liberty is to get involved in a small group. Small groups meet Sunday mornings and on Thursday nights. We strongly encourage you to find a small group that you can be a part of and "do life together" with us. Here is the list of the small groups available for you to be a part of:

Sunday Mornings at 9:45 am

YAMS
Leaders: Pastor Chas & Denise Singer / Chuck & Becca Binkerd
YAMS (Young Adult Ministries) meet to pray, fellowship, and learn the relevance of God’s truth to every part of their lives.  College students and those in their 20’s-30’s are invited to join this exciting class.

Young Marrieds
Leaders: Steve & Pam Wilson / Dave & Carol Sarber
If you are engaged or newly-married, we’d love to have you join our class.  It will help keep your relationship and marriage on solid ground.

Growing Together
Leaders: Pastor Ryan & Beth Frank
Growing Together is a discussion-based class for married couples with young children. This class consists of couples in their 30’s and 40’s who want to grow closer to their spouse, their children and the Lord.

Faithful Families
Leaders: Pastor Mike & Sarah Click
Come and join us as we explore what God’s Word says about building faithful families. We have a relaxed learning atmosphere where the Bible is taught and life experience is shared.  This class is open to all adults; however, most of the attendees are married with children in their teens.

Fellowship Class
Leaders: Gary & Judy Hendricks / Bud Silverthorn
Fellowship and prayer are the cornerstones of this class of warm and loving believers. Encouragement can be found among the members of this discussion-oriented class. If you like fellowship, spiritual challenges and accountability, you’ll love this class!

Primetime Singles
Leaders: Chuck & Cheryl Simon
If you are a 40’s + single or single again come be a part of this Christ-centered adult singles Bible fellowship, where the teaching of God’s Word changes lives.  We enjoy social activities with opportunities to grow and to fellowship with one another.

Bereans
Leaders: Walter & Julie Scase
The Berean’s “received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily” (Acts 17:11).  This class is for those who want to learn in an atmosphere of encouragement and challenge.  We are helping each other think objectively about the Word and its effect on us.

Purpose-Driven
Leaders: Rich & Brenda Romine
You are not an accident!  Even before the universe was created, God had you in mind, and He planned for you His purposes!  This class provides a setting for individuals who enjoy studying the Bible together in a relaxed small group setting.

Overcomers
Leaders: Pastor Bishir / Everett & Imogean Steely
This class loves to receive instruction from God’s Word.  The lessons are therefore built around doctrinal themes or Bible books.  This class is perfect for those who desire to deepen their walk with Chris through strong biblical teaching and grow closer to others through great fellowship.

The Bible Class
Leaders: John & Soo Rickner / Andy & Joy Rickner
The Bible Class is an established Adult Bible Fellowship that meets in the auditorium and LBC.  This large class offers an opportunity for extensive Bible study.

Thursday Nights at 7:00 pm

Building Bridges
Leader: Pastor Robert Cupps
How to reach friends & neighbors through hospitality Evangelism! Perhaps you have heard preachers lovingly motivate us to “get off the couch and start serving God!” But it may surprise you to find out that your greatest tool in guiding others to the Lord just might be your own living room.

Growing in Prayer
Leader: Lisa Adkins
We will study prayers uttered within God’s Word and learn that the condition of our heart matters. We will study how God interacted with Jonah, Nehemiah, Jabez, Peter, Gideon, Hannah, Abraham, King David, and Jesus! We will apply these prayers within our lives and will strengthen our relationship with our Lord!

New Testament Survey - I Corinthians
Leaders: Pastors Terry Bishir & Chas Singer
Paul wrote I Corinthians in response to information from the church regarding several problems there. This letter was the divinely inspired way of dealing with those problems. The result is something of a manual on church problems, since the difficulties in the Corinthian church are fairly typical of those any church faces. You might think of the epistle as a book of answers to specific problems...those most common in the church.

Living with Confidence in a Chaotic World - Part 2
Leaders: Pastor Ryan Frank & Michael Westfall
Confidence can be hard to come by these days. People are losing their jobs, their houses, and their life savings at an unprecedented
rate. Violence, natural disasters, and moral depravity seem to be skyrocketing. In this DVD-based study Dr. David Jeremiah rings a message of hope and confidence from the counsel of the Word of God. He answers many of the urgent questions that people today are asking.

Bookends of the Christian Life
Leader: Walter Scase
The purpose of this class is to encourage each other, grow in our faith, and to study and share in our reading of “Bookends of the Christian Life” by Jerry Bridges. Come for discussion, prayer, and fellowship.

Prayer Warriors
Pray about being a prayer partner on Thursday nights. We need partners who will stand with the Lord and our leaders here at Liberty.
