BACK IN THE OFFICE
July 20, 2010
It is Tuesday morning July 20th. I am back in my office after being in bed since Sunday afternoon about 1p.m. Not sure what I had but it began to come upon me while I was preaching during our first service Sunday morning. By the time I was finished with the second service I knew I need to get to bed soon. I went home , went directly to bed and have been there until this morning. I am still very weak but better. Please pray for me today as I need physical strength in order to accomplish todays agenda. Sunday's services were blessed with God's presence. In the morning the emphasis was on "What is the World Headed To?" In the evening the Lord had already led us to have Mike Green speak. Mike is a wonderful member of Liberty who knows what it means to walk with God. He is also a Gideon, and he led the people to see the mighty power of the printed scripture. Karen cam home to this ailing preacher and said the service was wonderful. That cheered my soul. We need to pray for the Gideon's across the world that the Lord will continue to use them in the dispersing of Bibles in schools, hospitals, motels and every other place they emphasize. Today I am praying specifically for the sick. Especially those who have long term illness. Those who are not getting better today. Whenever I am sick it helps me to feel compassion more and to practice understanding for those who are sick. I also am able to thank the Lord for His blessings of health. If you are well today why not thank the Lord for that healthiness? Speak with you tomorrow, Lord willing.

Amen, Mike! I think of all the times that Pastor Bishir has been praying for me, as well as others. It always helps. Sometimes, I can sense that someone is praying for me. Anyone else have that experience? Thank you, all, for your prayers and concern. Of course, Pastor we have prayed for you more than once today. I like how Mike adds "all that God wants you to have!" What a great way to pray... nothing more, nothing less than what God wants. Our Father is the Great Conductor. No one can direct like He can. He knows the beginning and the end of the song. (Wait! There is no end.) May the Holy Spirit revive us all today and grant each of us the opportunity to be His witness! One day last week, I listened to the book of Romans with an read-along online voice recording of the Bible. It reminded me of my grandmother who used to come sit by my bedside and read to me when I was often sick as a child and struggling to breathe. Her presence had a calming effect. I would just close my eyes, listen, and breathe. Ah, Romans. Beautiful book! Have a great and blessed week everyone. -CB Psalm 39
Pastor, it's good to hear that you are feeling better. Have been praying and will continue to do so. Also, the messages Sunday morning and evening were inspiring. I made sure I ordered DVD's from the first service to send out to family members and Mike did a wonderful job at showing us how important it is to go out into our world and leave a little bit of Jesus behind. (Something I am working on!) I hope all you bloggers have a wonderful day with our Lord and may I leave with you a couple things I have read this past week. When sound faith, obedience, and love operate in concert together, they result in happiness, holiness, and assurance. They constitute the evidence of a true Christian. Also, It is the twisting tests of life that produce character and faithfulness to God. It takes "process" to produce a "product." :)
Pastor, We love you and are praying for your health, strength and all that GOD wants you to have. Praise GOD!!!!!
