Children build spiritual resilience when they feel they belong to Jesus, when they believe in the truth of the Bible and then become disciplemakers in their own right.

  • BELONG: Highly relational ministry led by loving, caring adults.
  • BELIEVE: Deeply scriptural ministry rooted in the Gospel and the truth of God’s Word in order that kids may know, love and serve Jesus Christ.
  • BECOME: Truly experiential ministry designed to help kids navigate a changing culture, experience God’s presence and walk in the ways of Jesus.

PugglesBanner

Puggles is a program to introduce early preschoolers (2-3 years old) to what they need to know most about God and His love! The program communicates the four Big Truths from the Bible that form a strong first impression of God, His love for us, and our response to His love. Children will learn the Big Truths and the Bible verses that go with them.

CubbiesBanner

Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3-5 year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Preschoolers can hardly wait for their next Cubbies meeting. Whether it’s the exciting games or all their Cubbies friends, they simply love it. At Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God – the greatness of His love and His Word – and about His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Saviour. Non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce Story Time lesson themes. There are two years of curriculum available: HoneyComb and AppleSeed.

Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids (K-2nd grade) to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. For many children in kindergarten to second grade, Sparks is the highlight of the week! They love their red vests, the exciting games and spending time with leaders and friends. Sparks is divided into three years, each with a unique rank: HangGlider, WingRunner and SkyStormer.

The T&T (Truth & Training) curriculum teaches kids in grades 3-6 the truth of God’s Word, trains them to follow Him and practice His grace. T&T ushers kids and preteens on a journey to know God and His Word, love and need their Savior, and live out their faith in the ever-changing world around them.

 

WHAT HAPPENS AT AN AWANA CLUB?

A night at an Awana club balances connection, learning the Gospel and having fun to help kids grow relationally and spiritually.

Large Group Time

Large Group Time centers around the week’s Bible lesson, but it’s more than sitting and listening! Utilizing the Answers in Genesis curriculum provides excellent content that is cohesive with a scope and sequence that ensures a Biblical foundation during these formative years.  

Small Group Time

Small Group Time huddles a handful of kids around a consistent leader to foster warm relationships as kids ask their questions and discuss the Bible lesson, work through their handbooks and pray together.

Group Activity Time

Let’s have fun! Kids never forget playing games and jumping (literally!) into activities. The Awana Game Circle and many other fun competitions are planned by our faithful Game Leaders.
