How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ.
I was raised in a Christian home that regularly attended church. At the age of 5, on fathers day, my dad led me to the Lord. For weeks, even years, I had heard how Jesus Christ had come down to die for my sins on the cross. I had learned that I was a sinner, and that because of my sin I was going to hell one day. I then came to my dad on that morning and told him I wanted to trust Jesus as my Savior. So around 11:00 am that morning, my dad led me through a prayer and I trusted in Jesus as my Savior.
How I came to Liberty Baptist.
Years ago my Grandpa and Grandma came to Liberty from Sunnycrest Baptist, along with my Aunts, and began attending here. So when my dad got out of the Navy, we moved back to where my mom and dad had grown up, and naturally started attending the church we had always visited when visiting family, which was Liberty Baptist.
What I do at Liberty Baptist.
I help in the Children's ministry on Sundays, fill in for the bus route as well, help with the Jr High on Thursdays, help with Bus Visitation, manage the church Facebook Page, manage the church calendar at email@example.com, help with the Young Professional's Small group on Tuesday Nights, setup classes for Thursday night, clean the cans regularly, and clean the church twice a week. I also do a host of other small but worthwhile tasks depending on the week.
Why I do what I do.
I serve here at Liberty because of two reasons: the first reason is that I recognize and understand that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and then rose the third day in victory over death. In that sacrifice He mad for me, I was able to be redeemed and reconciled unto Him and now owe my life to Him for what He did for me. This is my reasonable service, Romans 12:1. The second reason is because of the calling He has placed on my life, being that I believe God has called me into full time Christian service to preach a declare His truth, 2 Timothy 4:1-2.
At Liberty Baptist since July 2002.
On staff since May 2016.
Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries with a minor in Biblical Languages from Pensacola Christian College

Galatians 2:20 (KJV): "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
What I do for fun.
I enjoy anything from reading fiction books to Christian theology books, watching the latest DC/Marvel movies or anything Star Wars. I enjoy woodworking, learning about car engines, and even cooking. I am a Cubs fan, Colts fan, Golden State fan, and general sports fan. I love going shooting, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing at home. I believe you should work hard at work, play hard when at home, and enjoy the life God as long as you honor God in doing so.
