Heaven Matters
“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:1-2
The idea in this favorite passage is to diligently, actively, and continually think on the realities of Heaven, lifting our focus from the temporal here on earth to the eternal things of Heaven. Focused on biblical truths, not myths, questions about Heaven like: “What kind of body will we have? Will we know each other there? What is Heaven like? Will I still be married? Will I be an angel? What will we do in Heaven?” and dozens more will be answered during this study. Discovering and meditating on these things together is sure to reenergize our joy and hope, to motivate us to higher character and invigorate our spiritual service. This study will ground us in our heavenly hope and biblical reality, not fantasies or fairy tales. It will prepare us for Heaven as we live now, in the light of the world to come.
Heaven Matters is led by Pastor Terry Bishir and is available at both 5:30 & 6:30 pm in the Singer Prayer Chapel.
None Like Him (Ladies Class)
God is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible. We are not. And that’s a good thing. Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone. Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God‘s limitless power, Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.
None Like Him is led by Randi Jones and will meet at 6:30 pm in room 135.
God's Grace
By God’s grace, He has raised believers in Christ from being dead in their sins, gave them a new heart, gave understanding of eternal truth, and brought them personally to know Him as the only living and true God.
Therefore, we as the body of Christ must always be nourishing the culture of His grace. God wants to bring us to a fuller understanding of His grace, individually and corporately as His church. Born again Christians need to be reminded continually of how God’s grace has laid hold of their lives. This class will help each to live life gripped by His grace!
God's Grace is led by Bruce Koontz and will meet at 6:30 pm in room 133 in the southeast corner of the gym.

AWANA: 6:30p
Awana is an environment where children 3 years old through 6th grade embrace a genuine personal faith in Christ through Scripture memorization using games, devotions, and handbook time.
Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Those kids who come to faith at an early age discover God’s purpose for their lives and hope for the future. Ministry leaders and parents witness the profound impact Awana has in reaching kids with the gospel and watching them grow as long-term disciples. That’s why so many families and leaders have returned year after year, week after week, for more than three generations. Bring your children this Thursday night at 6:30p and join us for Awana!
