"Values Are Your Vitals" with Pastor Terry Bishir
God cares about what you value, because He has made you for Himself. God must be our valued treasure. As Augustine once said, "You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they find rest in you." And yet our values are often out of place, our values show that our hearts truly are restless. Our values are like our pulse, or our blood pressure; they are good indicators of our spiritual health. Join us as we test our spiritual vitals and explore the values of prayer, family, self-discipline, integrity, worship, and many more.
"Values Are Your Vitals" will be offered at both 5:30 & 6:30 pm in the Singer Prayer Chapel.
"In His Image" (Ladies class) with Randi Jones
Sometimes we ask “What is God’s will for my life?” When we should really be asking "who should I be?" The Bible has an answer: Be like the very image of God. By exploring ten characteristics of who God is - holy, loving, just, good, merciful, gracious, faithful, patient, truthful, and wise - we will journey through Jen Wilkin's book which helps us understand who God intends for us to be. Through Christ, the perfect reflection of the image of God, we will discover how God’s own attributes impact how we live, leading to freedom and purpose as we follow His will and are conformed to His image.
"In His Image" meets at 6:30 pm in Room 135.
"Truths From the Dawn of Time" with Andy Rickner
The most ancient history might sound stale and completely irrelevant, but God knows differently. In the first 11 chapters of Genesis, God reveals truths which remain unchanged from the dawn of time, but these truths also remain greatly relevant for today. Genesis contains some of the most needed truths for navigating our current culture. Despite great scientific advances, and being the most technologically advanced age in history, it seems humanity does not have the faintest idea of who they are or what they are to be doing. Yet, those are among the first things God seeks to teach us in His Word. We need the truths of Genesis more than ever.
"Truths From the Dawn of Time" meets at 6:30 pm in the auditorium.

AWANA: 6:30p
Awana is an environment where children 3 years old through 6th grade embrace a genuine personal faith in Christ through Scripture memorization using games, devotions, and handbook time.
Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Those kids who come to faith at an early age discover God’s purpose for their lives and hope for the future. Ministry leaders and parents witness the profound impact Awana has in reaching kids with the gospel and watching them grow as long-term disciples. That’s why so many families and leaders have returned year after year, week after week, for more than three generations. Bring your children this Thursday night at 6:30p and join us for Awana!
