How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ.
I was a student in college and one afternoon I found myself listening online to a pastor preach a message on sin, and that our sin sends us to hell. Shortly after that, I began attending church and the local pastor preached a similar message. I went to the pastor after the service, and repented of my sins and called on The Lord Jesus Christ to save my soul.
How I came to Liberty Baptist.
My wife and I were serving in our local church in Muncie, and I began feeling that The Lord Jesus was calling me to become a pastor. After much prayer and counsel, one of the deacons and his wife at our church, told me that the head pastor at Liberty Baptist trained young men for the office of pastor/teacher. I began meeting with Pastor Bishir and continued to pray, and after a few months we decided to come to Liberty Baptist for their internship program.
What I do at Liberty Baptist.
I am involved in a little bit of everything. I currently teach and shepherd our Young Professionals Sunday School class, and teach in our 4th, 5th and 6th grade Jr. Church. I am also involved in the music ministry, bus ministry, outreach ministries, midweek electives and have ministries in a few nursing homes in our communities where I teach and shepherd.
Why I do what I do.
I do these things because I want to serve The Lord Jesus Christ.
